Explore miles of uncrowded beach and coastal dunes a few blocks away in the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Or head the other way toward the center of Pensacola Beach where you will find all of the action and activity the beach has to offer. Casino Beach, The Pensacola Fishing Pier, and Quietwater Beach and Boardwalk are home to most of the restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and rental activities on the beach, as well as the main marina where most of the fishing charters and boat rentals are docked. Venture a bit further to Historic Ft Pickens and another stretch of preserved undeveloped seashore. There is a Beach Trolley stop in front of the property if you want to leave your car at home and explore the island. The 15 mile long dedicated walking and biking path also passes in front of the property if you want to see the island and the national seashore at a more leisurely pace.
Hop aboard the new Pensacola Ferry system to explore the greater Pensacola area by water. With stops at Ft Pickens, the Boardwalk, and downtown Pensacola, you will find world class art and museums, historical tours, the Blue Wahoos Minor League Baseball team, shopping, and dining.
